There is no question that app development has become one of the most popular and highly recommended business ventures in modern times due to the high demand that it has going for it. The problem is that even the most brilliant app development ideas can fail to find customers if the marketing methods are inefficient. In his article, we are going to give you 10 steps that you need to take in order to achieve the best possible results when you launch a new app.

1-Target the right audience

This is an extremely important step because you need to be able to identify the audience that is most likely to purchase your app and all of your efforts should be moving in that direction.

2-Get a domain and build a website

Securing a domain with your app name is essential and if the name is taken, you can call it something like “appnameapp.com”. The point is that you need to have a professional and mobile friendly website that displays a good landing page pitch and any other sections you consider useful.

3-Create a promotional video

This video needs to be able to give people the 101 on your application. What does it do? How does it benefit people? What makes it better than the rest? These are all questions you need to answer in a video that is between 30 second long and 3 minutes tops. The perfect balance sits at approximately 2 minutes.

4-Get in touch with influencers

You need to look for influencers that have audiences that will show interest in your applications and you have to find a way to get them to promote your product. Most of them will charge a fee for this purpose but some are willing to mention your app if you provide them with full features for free.

5-Create a good press kit

This is the best way to make it easy for bloggers and journalists in general to have all the required information they need when they want to write an article or make a video about your app. Make it easy for them with a good press kit. It should include your app logo, your store description, a link to your site and social media URL’s and press contact information.

6-Submit your app to main stores

Submitting your app to Google play if it’s Android or the Apple Store for iOS is also essential. Ideally, your app should be available for both systems.

7-Start writing content marketing blogs

Writing blog posts is no longer enough. Now you need to make sure that you write them with the intention of giving your audience valuable tips and information that is somehow related to your app, but it should be able to stand alone as useful information that they will be able to apply in some way.

8-Encourage reviews and bug reports

If you want to build a loyal fanbase for your app, you need to encourage bug reports and reviews in order to fine tune your app for future update releases.

9-Use paid advertisement

Making use of platforms like Facebook to get the best possible results from your marketing efforts is essential. This particular social media network has a very robust and customizable advertisement system that you are going to find ideal for your needs.

10-Keep track of your progress

If your current marketing campaign is showing low conversions, you need to keep track of this and tweak your campaign efforts to maximize engagement. Make some important changes every 2 or 3 weeks tops.
